India: BrahMos Missile Test Was Successful -- Defense News

BHUBANESWAR, India - India on Sept. 5 successfully tested a surface-to-surface version of the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile, officials said.

The missile, which India has developed jointly with Russia, was fired from a mobile launcher 125 miles (200 kilometers) northeast of Bhubaneswar, the capital of the eastern state of Orissa.

My Comment: This is a worrisome development, because this successful test will lead to this, followed by selling such an advanced cruise missile to anyone who has the cash to buy it.
