Breaking News: Gates Offered Retired Aircraft Carriers To China

During his recent visit to Beijing, U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates told Chinese President Hu Jingtao that Washington is willing to sell retired USS Kitty Hawk and USS Ranger to China to help narrow the trade deficit between both countries.

My Comment: One more reason (or opinion) on why Sec. of Defense Gates should be fired.

I know what you mean .... I was also steamed when I read Alert5's post the first time.
china is a selfishdragon.so no military help to chinies.
Hmmm Why don't they also just give them maps to alll our nuclear weopons and computers with alll our secret info and put planes on the decks so they can use them against us to! There must be a better way to reduce our debt then selling weopons that may be used on us someday?
