Fury As BBC Turns The Deadly Business Of Bomb Disposal In Afghanistan Into A Trendy COMEDY -- The Daily Mail

The BBC is risking the wrath of the armed forces by commissioning a new comedy series about bomb-disposal experts - as the body of the 366th soldier killed in Afghanistan is returned to the UK.

The show, which has the working title IED, is to be screened on the edgy, youth-oriented channel BBC3.

It comes as Kevin Fortuna, 36, died on Monday when a Taliban bomb exploded as he led his men out on patrol in the Saidabad Kalay area of the Nahr-e Saraj district of Helmand.

My Comment: MASH was an excellent comedy series using the Korean war as its backdrop. I will withhold comment until I see the first episode.
