US Intelligence Agencies Issues Pessimistic Report On Afghan War -- Khaama Press

US spy agencies following a pessimistic report on Tuesday said a resilient Taliban is “diminished in some areas” despite 12 years long war in Afghanistan.

This comes as the US military habitually issues positive assessments of its progress in pushing back the Taliban and building up Afghan forces however the latest annual report has given a downbeat to the Congress from the intelligence community.
