Mutiny In Ukraine's Navy (Update: Mutiny Is Spreading To Ukrainian Army Units)

Ukrainian Navy Flagship Takes Russia’s Side – Report -- RT

Ukraine’s Navy flagship, the Hetman Sahaidachny frigate, has reportedly refused to follow orders from Kiev, and come over to Russia’s side and is returning home after taking part in NATO operation in the Gulf of Aden flying the Russian naval flag.

There has been conflicting information on where exactly the vessel is, but a Russian senator has confirmed to Izvestia daily that the frigate defected to the Russian side.

“Ukraine’s Navy flagship the Hetman Sahaidachny has come over to our side today. It has hung out the St Andrew’s flag,” Senator Igor Morozov, a member of the committee on the international affairs, told Izvestia daily.

My Comment: I have also heard reports that military units in the eastern part  of the country are refusing to take orders from Kiev. Here is an easy prediction .... expect even more reports of military units disobeying orders from the Ukraine government in the next few days/weeks.

WNU Editor: Western media outlets have not independently verified these reports. But I am hearing from my relatives in Ukraine and in Russia .... and they are telling me that the Ukraine army is split. Expect this to escalate and cascade into other Ukrainian military units.

Update #3: Ukraine is saying that its 10 ships in Crimean port are staying loyal.
