Confusion Mars Search for Missing Malaysia Jet -- Voice of America

HANOI — International teams searching for a missing Malaysian passenger jet widened their search area Wednesday, as Malaysia authorities denied issuing conflicting information about the last known location of flight MH370.

Speaking at a news conference in Kuala Lumpur Wednesday, Malaysia Transport Minister Hishammuddin Hussein said the country is dealing with an "unprecedented" situation and will do "whatever it takes" to find the Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 that went missing Saturday.
