Sighhh .... what is it about some of our public figures who feel so insecure that they have to fabricate such stories. I guess in this case of Brian Williams he felt he was in competition with this extraordinary NBC reporter and hero.

That is an understatement Jay.
“I would not have chosen to make this mistake,” Williams said. “I don’t know what screwed up in my mind that caused me to conflate one aircraft with another.”
