Pentagon: U.S. Navy Warships Will Not Intercept Iranian Ships On Their Way To Yemen

Washington Times: U.S. Navy warships deployed to Yemeni waters, could block Iranian weapons

A U.S. carrier battlegroup is repositioning to the Arabian sea in response to a deteriorating security situation in Yemen, but Pentagon officials denied reports that the move is designed to intercept Iranian ships.

“Ships are repositioning to conduct maritime security operations, they are not going to intercept Iranian ships,” Col. Steve Warren, Pentagon spokesman, said.

The Associated Press sent a breaking news alert reporting the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt is steaming toward the waters off Yemen to join other American ships prepared to intercept any Iranian vessels carrying weapons to the Houthi rebels fighting in Yemen.

WNU Editor: According to the Washington Times .... the U.S. has flinched, and they are not going to intercept the Iranian ships.

You can't carry too much food an a warship such as a destroyer or submarine ... except for the elite 1% Houthi.

The Tokyo express at Guadalcanal brought supplies and many soldiers crammed into destroyers & submarines.
The Japanese called it rat transportation

Do we have rat transportation here, where they are transporting military advisors and not so much food?

China is really LiNKiNG their lips. They just cut reserves banks have to carry to try to float their economy.
Maybe I will find out soon. There will be a comment like don't be too upbeat... Everyone is in trouble and every is or was into QE.

China should not be so export oriented. It is not a cunningly trapped as a nuclear sized landmine laid by lazy and deceitful people who lie to themselves.

The malaise is simple. Too many people take out more than they put in. Social welfare systems does that. Not only does capital go on strike but people do too. They put it into neutral. Welfare type people cause working type people to put it into neutral. I have seen this 1st hand.

I guess the question is what will the Saudi's do. I never imagine the US directly confronting Iran over a few ships heading to a warzone that is of no interest for them.

The U.S. has never been concerned about the free flow of oil at market prices.

In fact a president has never ever stated such.
