Daily Mail: House GOP Benghazi report – Marines' rescue was delayed because no one could decide whether they should wear uniforms or civvies

* On night of 2012 attacks, government officials whether Marines should wear military or civilian uniforms
* Marines had to change FOUR TIMES in three hours
* The U.S. also failed to scramble military assets in time to stop the attack on the U.S. Benghazi compound
* Top official at Hillary Clinton's State Department said he was sensitive to not diminishing security through overt presence

Add to the litany of failures during the Benghazi attack a serious wardrobe malfunction.

As the Sept. 11th, 2012 attack raged, government officials debated whether U.S. Marines being dispatched should don their military uniforms or wear civilian clothing, according to a new report being released by Republicans on the select Benghazi committee.

The report cites one commander who said as forces got ready to deploy, 'during the course of three hours, he and his Marines changed in and out of their uniforms four times,' NBC reported.

WNU Editor: The U.S. main stream media has moved on with this story .... too bad .... there are still too many embarrassing details on how the administration reacted during (and after) this crisis that should not be ignored. And while (in hindsight) this Marine rescue detachment would never have arrived in time to save these 4 Americans .... the fact is that during this crisis the priority was on what clothes should they wear .... instead of going there .... should give chills to everyone.

Snafu, the Marine Corp blog is all over it, and surprise, surprise, they ain't blaming Hillary or Obama,

But instead General Ham for refusing a direct order to send forces, then waffling.

This administration is always concerned about the politics of any situition. While I understand that plays in any decision, the lack of logic or reason continues to astound me. As an American, I don't think the powers that be have a true grip on reality. It's a growing cancer, and it scares the shit out of me.

Jay. I first brought this up in 2012.

Was General Carter F. Ham Fired Over Benghazi

There is a lot on this story that needs to be cleared up .... but i fear that with the media now wanting to move on .... it will be ignored.

It's become political, not tactical.

It's a $7 million dollar #Benghazi cluster fuck like the Foster inquiries trying to smear,

Rather than trying to figure out what went wrong and how to adress it.

I miss Pogge, ( Peace, Order and Good Governance), another Blogger taken too soon.

When the shit hit's the fan, you are supposed to pull together, that's " their" job, you are not supposed to work and stretch the partizan lines for political profit.

The Democratic/ Republican War in the US makes the "war" against ISIS look like a Kindergarden spat over cookies and milk.

Boehner did not wage war. He grabbed his ankles, Jay.

McConnell is good at grabbing his ankles too for one so old and fat.

This why an independent commentator has said repeatedly that "McConnell is like a 10# fish that can be landed with 5 # test." How muchfight is there in that?
