U.S. State Department Officials In Revolt Against The White House. Urging U.S. Military Action Against Assad Regime

New York Times: 51 US Diplomats Urge Strikes Against Assad in Syria

WASHINGTON — More than 50 State Department diplomats have signed an internal memo sharply critical of the Obama administration’s policy in Syria, urging the United States to carry out military strikes against the government of President Bashar al-Assad to stop its persistent violations of a cease-fire in the country’s five-year-old civil war.

The memo, a draft of which was provided to The New York Times by a State Department official, says American policy has been “overwhelmed” by the unrelenting violence in Syria. It calls for “a judicious use of stand-off and air weapons, which would undergird and drive a more focused and hard-nosed U.S.-led diplomatic process.”

Such a step would represent a radical shift in the administration’s approach to the civil war in Syria, and there is little evidence that President Obama has plans to change course. Mr. Obama has emphasized the military campaign against the Islamic State over efforts to dislodge Mr. Assad. Diplomatic efforts to end the conflict, led by Secretary of State John Kerry, have all but collapsed.

Given the ongoing failure that has been US Policy in Syria,

http://www.moonofalabama.org/2013/09/a-short-history-of-the-war-on-syria-2006-2014.html

The US should continure supporting their one success:

http://www.aljazeera.com/news/2016/05/syria-kurdish-offensive-raqqa-160525202514850.html

and recognizing the advances of the R+6

The US should evacuate the moderate rebel groups and their supporters, groups like Ansar al Sham, Alweate al Furquan, Fataquim Kama Umerite, Nurbal Dim al Zanki Islamic Brigaides, and all their arms, from the pockets under seige, back to the US, somewhere in Texas, Georgia or Louisiana, perhaps on an empty Army Base some where, or to one of the rural suburbs of Washington,

where they can stay intact as a community of several hundred thousand, an Army in Exile of about 30,000, built cohesion and common cause, train with their weapons, and be rearmed until the time is right to topple Assad.

Russia want an ally in the region that secure their economic and military interests.
Assad or not, creating a rebel army in exile or not, resurrecting terrorism or not, if U.S. continue to not accept that, the war continue under new shitting puppets.

I don't get it.

The time to go against Assad and push Obama about it would have been before the Russians got involved.

Obama has shown himself to be too much of a pussy-tat for the Russians to back down now.

It's Kerry's current position on Syria as Sec. State, so it's a bunch of Junior FSO's putting their names out there for positions and promotions in Hillary's Administration.
