Do U.S. Vets Who Have Experienced Iraq And Afghanistan See The Dallas Massacre Differently?

Michael Yon: American Unrest: Officers Shot, Killed in Dallas

Many veterans of Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam, and other such wars, likely view this news cycle through a different glass.

Using Iraq as example, after things truly began to spin out of control in 2004, many people were fighting for vastly different reasons. The situation was difficult to track even for dedicated analysts. Just who was fighting whom, and for what reasons, often was a great mystery even to our intelligence people.

Amid the chaos of unstructured conflict and war, the always-there lunatic fringe is uncorked. Suddenly the actions of a serial killer look like the work of an insurgent or group. Criminality skyrockets, and what would earlier have been seen as just a bank robbery looks like part of a movement.

Groups or individuals who are honestly fighting for some cause — not just angry, or lunatics, or criminals unleashed — can have many separate goals. These goals often will be in opposition to one another.

WNU Editor: An old friend of mine who lives in San Francisco and is in his 80s told me this morning that his biggest fear is that the U.S. is returning to the turbulent times of the 1960s when many Amercian urban centers were engulfed with protest, crime, and population flight. Being one who was too young to remember that period of time (and also being one who grew up in the Soviet Union) .... I have trouble relating to his concerns. But I do know history, and if the U.S. is entering such a period of time .... sighhhh .... dark days ahead.

My friend also told me to watch out on what happens at the Republican and Democrat conventions in the coming weeks. With the world media being present he is predicting major disruptions .... or worse. I hope he is wrong .... but with the current state of U.S. politics and deep racial hatreds being what they are .... his concerns are probably justified.

Racial tensions flare in protest of South Dallas gas station - The Dallas Morning News.

It is because of community organizers large (Coward in Chief) and small(this idiot in Dallas), things will get worse if they get worse.

Obama is the worst president in American history.

This is a good article. At lot of people, for whatever reasons, have lost faith in the system and their numbers are growing. I have never seen the U.S. this divided in my life time. We should expect things to get worse. Much worse.

The trouble of '60 was made for, and ended into civil progress, today we see civil regress made by indifference or self-blinding on a worsening internal situation.

History takes his revenges: maybe in the next ten years US citizens are to experience what Iraq or Libya is now.

Unless is used the dangerous but evergreen solution: war.

That guardian website is a half truth. It looks like it is in relator format but it is missing information.

How many of those people were committing felonies.

If for example 30% or 50% of the criminals are from a group, you can expect the police contacts to be proportional.

If a group commits 50% of the murders in a nation, would you expect 50% of that group to be on death row? Or would you expect them to only represent 1%?

Where is that information on the precious Guardian table.

Are we going to look at no more than 2 or 3 variable together?

From what I seen mainstream black leaders (Not Sharpton or Jesse Jackson) while distressed are not the whole equation. The BLACK HEBREW ISRAELITES or the like and the black pseudo Muslims are stoked. It can get very bad.

Micah did not have a Muslim name. But he did have the name Micah. That is a clue to how he grew up. It is not pretty.

https://www.splcenter.org/fighting-hate/intelligence-report/2008/racist-black-hebrew-israelites-becoming-more-militant

A few more kernels pop and it will make the Symbionese liberal Army look like child's play.

"RACIST BLACK HEBREW ISRAELITES BECOMING MORE MILITANT"

The lying sack of shit Obama did not make anything better. He made it worse, much worse.

Echo's of history, 1973

http://articles.chicagotribune.com/2003-01-05/news/0301050324_1_moon-landrieu-sniper-wounded

"On Jan. 7, 1973, Mark Essex drew a bead on Solis from the upper floors of a HoJo in New Orleans. Before Essex was gunned down by police on the roof of the 18-story building, he had killed nine people, including five police officers. Nineteen people had been wounded."

Aizino,

I was more concerned with just how many folks, black, white or whatever have been killed by the police, no matter what they were doing. I looked at the faces. To me the number is significant and a sign of a worsening problem across the board.

The Guardian's point was typical of most MSM wanting to keep the "race" thing going. For me, while not discounting the very real prejudice and bigotry which exists, it is more about divide and rule or divide and fleece.

Black Hebrew Israelites, New Black Panthers, Islamo-fascists (NoI or otherwise), White Supremacists, Banderites etc. have one thing in common; they are useful (knowingly or not) to people who want to gain or maintain power and privilege. They're a reserve army of scumbags to set on those who wish to level things out, get to the nitty gritty of class, or at least bring forth some fairness and equality of opportunity.

But, in fairness, you should thank hundreds of years of white supremacy, anti-re-construction and segregation mixed with a guiding principle of rabid individualism for these black militant groups. Why would a black American want to be a Hebrew Israelite (or a Pharaoh, Carthaginian etc)? Because for more generations than not in America,
And elsewhere, there was nothing worse than being black. That stigma and sense of self-loathing is not going to go away because of some affirmative action program or proclamation that says "get over it, we're all equal now". It's going to take education, meaningful work and a sense of self worth rooted in reality to make that happen--- and not just for black people. sadly, the instruments to provide these things are precisely those thst have been subject to cuts, and the economic imperatives of those on the top.

What Obama made worse (well one of the things) was being a poster child for some kind of black ascendancy that just does not exist. He's a fraud and a wallpaper covering a very nasty plaster wall. He is also the member of a class that means no more good for lower class Black people than he does for lower class whites, Hispanics, Asians etc.

The slogan of the original Black Panthers was "All Power to All the People".

The slogan of Obama (and Willy, Dubya, Killary, Trumpolini etc) is "All Power to Thee People...like Me"

The Guardian post is very useful .... but it's focus on rates per million/etc. misses the point that most police homicides are white/hispanic ... not black. But (IMHO) what is disturbing are the unarmed black killings. I know that in some of these black communities are very dangerous .... in the municipality where I live on the island of Montreal there is a section which is predominantly black .... and yes .... crime ridden. I have been told that when the police go there to enforce a warrant, they come in force. So are police nervous when they are patrolling there .... I know I would be.

But the cultural/racial group that should be upset are North American Indians. I have been told that their (rate/million) are more than double than any other group. But considering the high drug/alcohol crisis on some of these reserves, coupled with family breakdowns .... as well as the sad fact that in almost every home there is a gun (at least where I live in Canada) .... a policeman's job in these communities must be incredibly difficult and stressful.

Thank you Jay for the link. This is why I like reading my comments thread. I never knew about that 1973 massacre.
