Editor's Note
It figures that on a big news day .... and today is a big news day .... your editor has to fulfil a promise to the GF to take her out to dinner tonight .... and to a comedy show after. And while I did try to renege on this deal .... the look that "I am about to be killed" made me decide to not push that boundary. So .... its off to a dinner and to a show .... blogging will return when I come back later tonight.

Ho oh Man, I know that look. When Die Fuhrer (Mrs H) uses it I suddenly forget all my other commitments while the urge to make her happy becomes overwhelming.

You too have survived a coup attempt.
In the meantime the coup is failed thanks to the peoples calling out by Erdogan, religious autority and oppositions, who have surrounded the tanks, over 450 arrested.
Erdogan is returned and talked to national TV, no more in hands of rebel military.
Great proof of democratic resistance!
