F-35s Crossing The Atlantic



Daily Mail: Top gun! Amazing pictures show Britain's new supersonic F35 stealth fighter jet going through its paces over the North Sea

* First UK flight for £100million jet taken over North Sea captured today after transatlantic crossing earlier this week
* The F-35B Lighting II Jet conducted air manoeuvers with support from a similar US F-35B jet
* Plane will fly at the Royal International Air Tattoo and Farnborough International Air Show over the next few weeks

The first of Britain's new supersonic 'stealth' strike fighters has taken to UK skies.

These amazing pictures show the £100million aircraft - accompanied by a United States Marine Corps F-35B aircraft - flying over the North Sea today after taking off from RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire.
