Hillary Clinton Breaks Her Silence On The FBI Director's Testimony On Her Use Of A Private Server

Washington Examiner: Clinton: FBI director was 'speculating'

Hillary Clinton broke her silence on the FBI's investigation into her email system Friday, arguing FBI Director James Comey had simply been "speculating" when he testified before Congress that her private server was likely hacked by hostile agents.

"I just believed that the material that was being communicated by professionals ... they did not believe that it was [classified]," Clinton said during an interview with CNN's Wolf Blitzer. "I did not have a basis for second-guessing their conclusion and these [emails] were not marked. They were not marked."

WNU editor: I watched the CNN interview when eating supper .... and I must admit that I was surprised to see her. Her argument that the FBI Director was just speculating fell flat .... you can even see it in Wolf Blitzer's eyes. The fact that this interview was done late Friday .... when everyone is else is focused on the weekend .... tells me that the Clinton camp must be aware that this email case has been very damaging .... doubly so after the FBI Director's testimony yesterday .... and that they had to respond. But like I said .... accusing the FBI Director of speculating as her line of defense during supper time on a late Friday afternoon just fell flat. Her best line of defense right now is to just ignore it, and focus on Trump .... which I am willing to bet was the purpose of this entire exercise this  late in the day.

The phrase "Eyes bigger than her stomach" comes to mind.

In this case her eyes are orders of magnitude greater than her intelligence, knowledge and competence.

Dual citizenship comes to mind.

I won't commit treason, but I will not suffer from her lawlessness, avarice and incompetence.

It is nice to have relatives on 3 continents and comfort with, knowledge of, and long experience of a 4th.
