Progress is too slow, these fuckers should have been annihilated already. The politicians need to loosen up the ROE so it can get done

A change in the rules of engagement (ROE) likely would be very helpful but such a change is not magic. This is a VERY tough enemy and it will be/has been EXTREMELY difficult to defeat them.

In six months ISIS has lost a 12% of its territory if this report is to be believed. If this is the case, this is very good progress and is frankly more than I would have expected.

I would be very surprised if this rate of taking territory from them can be maintained. As allied forces get closer to the core of ISIS progress against them will likely be more difficult.

While I do expect them to be ultimately defeated as the math simply doesn't seem to work for them, this is a very tough and very adaptable enemy. Progress against them should be expected to be quick or easy.

I meant progress should not be expected to be quick or easy.
