DoD Buzz: Air Force Can’t Afford F-35 But Wants a ‘Super’ A-10?

U.S. Air Force leaders have recently signaled an interest in developing a new aircraft dedicated to the mission of close air support as a replacement to the venerable A-10 Thunderbolt II, commonly known as the Warthog.

And the USAF's "Super" A-10 program is just vapourware to help the USAF kill off the A-10 ( which they never wanted) for once and for all.

USAF has alway's tried to kill the A-10, even before it entered service.

Basically, the USAF has alway's seen itself as the Knights,

Defending the Yeomen, ( Marines and Grunts), is beneath them.
