Reuters: Kerry warns peace deal on Ukraine is in danger of failing

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry warned on Thursday that the Minsk peace deal on Ukraine was doomed to fail unless "real security" was restored in eastern Ukraine where government forces are pitted against Russian-backed separatists.

The Minsk agreement was negotiated by Ukraine, Russia, Germany and France in February 2015 to end the fighting which broke out in eastern Ukraine after the fall of a Moscow-backed president and the arrival in power of a pro-Western leadership.

But the ceasefire has failed to stop all fighting between Ukrainian government troops and the Russian-backed rebels while the two sides accuse each other of failing to honor the commitments made in Minsk.

More than 9,000 people have been killed in the fighting.

The situation in the Ukraine becomes more fantasmic by the day. It takes a major feat of twisted logic to believe in the legitimacy of the Kiev government; let alone to actively promote or defend it.

When a known neo Nazi is the House Speaker and proclaims out loud that he does not believe in, or intend to abide by, the peace agreement, there is little else that needs to be said except sanctions and embargo on.

I've said it before,

Expell the Ukrainian Amassador, close their embassy, and suspend all diplomatic and trade relations with Kiev until the fascists are removed from positions of authority, the provisions of the Minsk Agreement are followed, and the political assassinations end. Immediately cut all military aid and remove Canadian soldiers from the country.
Institute law that makes all aid to neo-nazi or other military units a criminal offence and relentlessly enforce it while also cracking down on Canada's various hate groups. Instead of paying intimidating visits to kids who protest G20 meetings, purge CSIS of the Kenneyite retards, and sic 'em on the nazis/racists/fundamentalists.
