Piers Morgan, Daily Mail: They never believed he’d get the nomination and they STILL don’t believe he can become President: But here are 10 ways Trump can make the Washington elite look even dumber

So, it’s actually happened: Donald Trump IS the official Republican nominee to be President of the United States.

The moment very few members of the Washington elite or mainstream U.S. media thought was even remotely possible when Trump first announced he was running a year ago has arrived.
I’m not as shocked as they are.

Back on June 17, 2015, I wrote a column warning everyone snorting with derision not to underestimate the billionaire tycoon and predicting he would electrify the campaign.
That, whether you love or loathe Trump, he has indisputably done.

And he’s done it in sensational style, crushing his 17 rivals for the Republican nomination like a raging two-tonne bull careering through the proverbial china shop.

WNU Editor: Even Michael Moore believes it .... Michael Moore Tells Bill Maher: "Trump Is Going to Win" (Hollywood Reporter). I still believe that this is Hillary Clinton's election to lose, but she has to energise her campaign if she wants to get the Democrat base out to vote for her .... and her selection of Tim Kaine as her running mate is not going to do that. President Obama can help deliver this vote .... but after watching him for the past few weeks I cannot help but feel that he is now looking forward to leaving the White House, and while helping Hillary Clinton is important to him,  he is not passionate about it to the same degree that he was with his own campaigns in 2008 and 2012.

After Brexit and the rise of Islamist terror in Western Europe, it seems a Trump victory would make a trifecta win for those looking hopefully, for the weakening of the West. A NATO denier, can't manage to say anything at all about President Putin and openly threatening China, that is not diplomacy.
Another loose cannon is uneeded in this drama. At least Hillary is a known quantity.

It is Hillary's election to lose and I am confident that she is very much up to the task.

She's selected another corrupt member of The Establishment in the hopes that her robot voters will somehow believe he helps.

What are the first three things that come to mind when you think of either candidate?

For me it was:

For Hillary:
1) crooked
2) incompetent*
3) heartless

* mixed with recklessness - see what the FBI director (appointed by Obama!) -publicly- said about her while(!) she's running for presidency for the same team. A man both sides value for his honor and professionalism.

For Trump:
1) Liar, but successful
2) Manipulative
3) Smart**

**here, actually mixed with a somewhat good heart as his family members really seem to care about him -- or are all excellent(!) actors...

I rather vote for a smart, financially Liar who's got a bit of a heart (doesn't that sounds like Hans Solo in Star Wars?) Then for someone who is incompetent, also a liar/crooked, and really can't connect/feels heartless?
