Are Tech Companies Working With The White House To Defeat Donald Trump?

The Verge: Emails show Google’s close relationship with the White House

For years, Google has been building a lobbying machine that outpaces its Silicon Valley peers, turning the internet giant into a major Washington presence. In 2014, the company surpassed AT&T, Verizon, and Comcast in lobbying spending dollars, and it's been particularly adept at building relationships with the White House. As of March 2015, Google averaged about one meeting a week with the Obama administration, and Google staff frequently move into jobs with the White House, or vice versa. But the figures on meetings and revolving doors don't always show how Google maneuvers those relationships when facing a fight.

WNU Editor: When I first read this story I was sceptical .... Tech Companies Apple, Twitter, Google and Instagram Collude to Defeat Trump (Liz Crokin, Observer) .... but after reading the above The Hill and The Verge posts .... I am now not so sure.

With Google its obvious. I have a Nexus (Googles own smartphone) and there is a builtin app known as Google Now. That app provides a number of news from various news outlets. Everyday this "news-forwarding app" pumps anti-trump and pro-clinton information. Everyday! I have not seen a pro-trump news for more then a year now.
