New York City Bomb Suspect Ahmad Khan Rahami Arrested After A Shoot-Put With Police



Daily Mail: CAPTURED: FBI arrest 'armed and dangerous' Afghanistan-born man, 28, wanted for Manhattan and New Jersey bombings in shootout that left two cops injured

* Ahmad Khan Rahami, 28, was taken into custody Monday morning in Linden, New Jersey
* Witnesses say he was found sleeping in the entryway of a bar and the owner called police
* When police arrived on the scene, Rahami started shooting and he struck two officers - one in the hand and one in the vest
* Rahami was also shot in the right shoulder and taken from the scene in an ambulance
* FBI released Rahami's picture Monday morning, saying they wanted to question him in connection to the two bombings and one attempted bombing in New York City and New Jersey over the weekend
* The pressure cooker bomb set off Saturday in New York City's Chelsea neighborhood left 29 people injured
* It was fingerprints on another bomb found blocks away from the Chelsea blast that led the FBI to Rahami
* Just hours before the Chelsea bombing, a pipe bomb was detonated at a military charity run in Seaside Park, New Jersey ; No one was injured in that incident
* On Sunday, five more pipe bombs were found at the Elizabeth train station and were neutralized by police
* DailyMail.com exclusively revealed on Monday that Rahami had sued his local police for discrimination
* The 2011 lawsuit claimed that police tried to shut down their chicken business early every night and that local residents racially abused them because of their Middle Eastern heritage

The man wanted in connection for two bombings and an attempted bombing in New York and New Jersey this weekend has been arrested after a shootout with police.

A bar owner in Linden, New Jersey called police around 11am Monday morning, after finding 28-year-old Ahmad Khan Rahami sleeping in the entryway of his business.

When police arrived on the scene, Rahami brandished a weapon and started shooting at the cops - injuring two. Officers eventually shot Rahami in the right shoulder and he was taken from the scene in an ambulance, handcuffed to a stretcher.
