Pentagon Officials Still Sceptical On Working With The Russians In Syria


The Hill: US general expresses skepticism over Russian cooperation in Syria

The top U.S. general in the Middle East expressed skepticism over whether the U.S. and Russian military could work together to target the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.

"I'm hopeful but I'm very realistic about what is before us," Army Gen. Joseph Votel, the commander of U.S. Central Command, said Wednesday at a conference in Washington hosted by the Institute for the Study of War.
