State Of Emergency Declared In Charlotte

Washington Post: N.C. governor declares state of emergency after another night of violence in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE — After a second night of violent demonstrations here that left one man clinging to life and several businesses damaged, North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory declared a state of emergency just before midnight Wednesday and sent the National Guard and state troopers to assist local police.

A march of a few hundred people turned chaotic after dusk, after protesters attempted to follow police in riot gear into the lobby of an uptown hotel. Officers used tear gas, and then a reporter heard a gunshot and saw a man lying in the street near the hotel entrance.

The man, who was not identified, was taken to a hospital with injuries that medics said were “life-threatening.” Officials announced on Twitter that the man had died, then later tweeted that he was on “life support.” No other information was given.

A black cop in a city with a black mayor kills a black criminal...and somehow this is a black/white racial problem & Donald Trump is to blame. Gyorgy Soros is sure getting his money's worth with that humongous BLM donation he made. Those aren't spontaneous protestors, they're paid protestors, courtesy of our pal Soros.

It's going to get worse before it gets better.

Much, much worse.

If you have not had the pleasure of growing up poor and a minority in the U.S. then you cannot understand how these people feel. It is as wonder that they have been so patient so long as their people are killed, wounded, deprived of housing, food and jobs and generally have little chance of upward mobility. At the least this leads to social disturbances.

8 years under "The First Black President" and this is where we are.

Agreed.

Obama has done little to improve the lot of the minorities in this country. Apparently, for the elite, color does not matter. His real constituency is the 1% from this or other countries. If you read the blistering comments from minority leaders you will find that they are furious with his inaction.

The real game out there is surviving global climate change and resource scarcity. China gets it and is moving with alacrity to accumulate the hard assets needed to seize and hold trade routes and basic resources. It will protect its interests and people against all comers while, at the same time, get even with those powers who humiliated their country in the past.

In the meantime, the U.S. distracts its citizens with arguments over who can use bathrooms and microaggressions. Look at the frustration and raw hate that emanate from many of the commenters to this blog. This hate and bigotry is the result of an effort to generate such responses. It has succeeded.

U.S. infrastructure looks like the third world and citizens have little government investment in their well being. Resources are being transferred at a frightening pace upward. It almost seems like the real leadership understands that the U.S. is going to be a second rate power in the near future and is moving resources to those areas and countries that it sees as winners.

If not, it is just oligarchy and kelptocracy at work.

Hate is a wonderful way to distract the public from the real game. Don't fall for it even if you are helpless to change it.

Countries, like the U.S., are usually first destroyed from within, not by an outside power. Greed and stupidity by business and government lead to desperation and people vote in those people who promise to relieve their pain. The political establishment offers them no choices. Fascism is usually the result, not the answer. This election will not solve the desperation of 50% of America that is asking for a fair deal.

Stay tuned for more CNN coverage as the U.S. self destructs.

AZ: Can I join you and the haters for lunch some time?

We can exchange pictures of Soros at his many mansions and bitch about about his wonderful life.

Soros unlike any other billionaires does not fund a foundation that buses people from all across the country to Ferguson, Milwaukee, Baltimore to Charlotte. He also funds libtards with no other skills other than to graduate college and rule badly as politicians or as captains of NGOs.

Where there would be protest, marches and stuff become violent protests, burnt cities and no dialogue.

There is no dialogue. There are Democrat politicians berating, chiding and dictating to us.

Black Lies Matters can sing pigs in a blanket in city after city and they get invited to the White House?

Occutards, BLM are the stormtruppen or shock armies of the DNC and Libtards like Soros.

Lots of rich people to whom I never give a thought. The reason I care is that he funds groups that agitate. They ship people in. Many people at Ferguson were bussed in from across the country. Agitators were bussed into Milwaukee.

Obama sends in a special unit of the DOJ to agitate. Obama is going to send that unit to Charlotte, which has a libtard Democrat mayor, black city council, black police chief and many black policemen (including the one who shot the felon)?

The only thing I would not accuse Soros of is funding the black Bloc anarchist of the 1990s and early 2000s. They show up on their own. They are also not local, but they were not bussed in by Soros.

We should film every agitator as they get off the bus and do an investigative scoop on on it.. With facial recognition software we could trace a couple thousand agitators as they move form city to city at the behest of their ,master in several DNC linked 'charities'

Thank you for making the point that ignorance and strong opinions are a dangerous mix. Haters such as yourselves are always with us and are a plague on a nation.

You need to stand in the other persons shoes in order to understand a subject. Qwerty commandos are a joke, but not a funny joke.

If I may suggest other countries where you would feel more comfortable?

Anon (which one?)

Qwerty commando >>> I have been to a war zone twice and earned danger pay. Probably unlike you.

Hater> - I am in a mixed race marriage. Try again anonymous doofus

Igonorant? I know history clear back to the dawn of agriculture world over better than most people.

I am also very good at science, social since and technology.

So the doofus ANON really has no leg to stand on except ad hominem.

Let's see Anon applied label "Qwerty Commando". He, she, xer probably did not come up with it itself.

The Anon though out some descriptors like hate and ignorant.

I think Anon is on the short list to be Obama's #Hashtag Secretary and join the cabinet.
