might not some of the missiles of a sudden missile attack have nukes on them?

Attacking a nuke site after a missile attack would be shutting the barn door after the horses are gone.

Attack the hundred families. If they get it into their heads that they will 'for sure' be dead and that that death has a strong possibility that it will be horrible, all of the sudden they will be model citizens.

Really crazy people or things are rare.

A jackal attacking a lion is virtually unheard of and rare. It seems ludicrous until you are told the jackal has rabies.

Kim Jong Un is quite sane and will act that way if he believes that not only will read him the riot act, but that you will mete it out. (Horse face need not apply for the job of reading the riot act to Kim)
