FBI Rocks The U.S. Presidential Race By Opening A New Inquiry ON the Hillary Clinton Email Case

New York Times: Emails in Anthony Weiner Inquiry Jolt Hillary Clinton’s Campaign

WASHINGTON — The presidential campaign was rocked on Friday after federal law enforcement officials said that emails pertinent to the closed investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server were discovered on a computer belonging to Anthony D. Weiner, the estranged husband of a top Clinton aide.

In a letter to Congress, the F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, said the emails had surfaced in an unrelated case, which law enforcement officials said was an F.B.I. investigation into illicit text messages from Mr. Weiner to a 15-year-old girl in North Carolina. Mr. Weiner, a former Democratic congressman from New York, is married to Huma Abedin, the top aide.

Mr. Comey's letter said that the F.B.I. would review the emails to determine if they improperly contained classified information, which is tightly controlled by the government. Senior law enforcement officials said that it was unclear if any of the emails were from Mrs. Clinton’s private server. And while Mr. Comey said in his letter that the emails “appear to be pertinent,” the F.B.I. had not yet examined them.

WNU Editor: Talk about October surprises. People vote on bread and butter issues, but corruption is an issue that reverbetrates with many voters. Will this impact how voters vote .... probably not .... many voters have already made up their mind on who they would support. But if you want to suppress the vote, this FBI announcement .... 11 days before the election .... will guarantee it. Republicans have been accusing the FBI for months of being poltiicized in their investigation of Hillary Clinton's use of a personal server, and now the Democrats are doing the same thing but on a related issue. For the FBI .... and specifically for Director Comey .... who gave no specifics in his letter to Congress on this case .... how he has handled the Hillary Clinton file will be remembered for a very long time. As for the Justice Department itself .... who oversee the FBI .... it is very revealing that have been utterly quiet since this bombshell has dropped. And as for Hillary Clinton .... she has not helped her case by refusing to answer questions on when did her aide Huma Abudin told her on what was on her (and her husband's computer), and why was she (Huma Abeden) not available for questions. Perception in politics is everything, and right now the perception is not painting a positive light on the Clinton campaign.
