Philippines Death Squads Are Now Being Linked To The Police

The Guardian: Philippines secret death squads: officer claims police teams behind wave of killings

Exclusive: Thousands of people have been killed since Rodrigo Duterte became president and, according to one officer, secret police teams are partly responsible

“We are not that bad policemen or bad individuals. We are just a tool, we are just angels that God gave talent to, you know, to get these bad souls back to heaven and cleanse them.”

The words flow unnervingly from the mouth of the policeman, a senior officer in the Philippines national police (PNP), as he explains his role in 87 killings in the past three months.

It’s not about killing for pleasure, or being a “homicidal maniac”, he says. There is a higher purpose at play.

“We are here as angels. Like St Michael and St Gabriel, right,” he says.

WNU editor: Over 3,000 have been killed in the Philippines since 1 July this year, when "Rodrigo Duterte was inaugurated as president and initiated his war on drugs and crime". I suspect this number is going to rise even more so in the months to come.

I can't believe this is happening in the modern day. Who's to say all these people are drug dealers or users and who's monitoring it. Who's to say these people are getting killed for other reasons and thet are just saying it's drug related. I can see this president falling hard and spending his last days in prison the way he's going, he's a sadistic murderer. 3 million people he is willing to kill, he idol is Adolf Hitler, this guy has to go.

The communist solved the drug trade in China in the 1950s. It was horrific, but they did it.

It comes to mind because Duerte say he will buy from China or Russia.

Leftists/Libtards always complain about the U.S. supporting dictators.

If we lose The Phillipines, maybe they ought to revisit their 'high'morals.

The Phillipines would be a nice pendant in the string of pearls. I have never seen such pendant in a pearl necklace, but things are done differently in other parts of the world.

It would be a long time before I would think up of a carrier/cruiser, but the Russians had one.

If the liberals are willing to give the Western Pacific up and do without their i-phones, the maybe all they have to do is keep up their whining.

Will Duerte remain? Don't know. Would have to see surveys and & other stuff on the Phillipines.

Japan would be the toughest nut to crack. Crack that & there will be an Axis.
