Maybe this Russian armada is on its way to take delivery of and protect a pair of Mistral class warships from Egypt...?
That would certainly be the height of bodaciousness.
Even better if they escorted the Nasser and Sadat to Syria and practiced amphibious assaults along with Syrian forces. They could call the exercise 'Hagar'.
I wonder if anyone would then doubt Egypt is the mother of all Arabs?
