The U.S. Does Not Know Who Fired Missiles From Yemen at Navy Ships

Military.com: US Can't Say Who Launched Missiles from Yemen at Navy Ships

The U.S. has yet to determine who was responsible for the launch of missiles at Navy warships in the Red Sea from areas in Yemen in the control of Iranian-backed Houthi rebels, a Pentagon spokesman said Thursday.

"We don't know who was pulling the trigger," Pentagon Press Secretary Peter Cook said, but the missiles were launched from "Houthi-controlled territory in Yemen. Iran has played a role and been supportive of the Houthi rebels." The Houthis have denied carrying out the attacks.

At 4 a.m. local time Thursday, the Arleigh Burke-class destroyer USS Nitze launched missiles at three radar sites in coastal Yemen in retaliation for the attempted attacks on Navy warships, Cook said.

The initial assessment was that the sites were destroyed and there were no indications of civilian casualties, he added.

WNU Editor: According to the above article .... the Pentagon and President Obama do not know who fired the missiles at U.S. Navy ships off the coast of Yemen earlier this week .... but President Obama still ordered the bombing of a Houthi radar installation anyway.

Because missiles need radars and those were the radar sites on at the time .

The Missile Defense Command of the Yemeni army sided with Saleh and the Houthis.

So who else had missiles?

Of course the Coward Obama, the complete asswipe, will order the DoD to withhold information on the type of missiles.

The USS Mason tracked the missiles and so has data on them.

Obama, Coward in Chief, does not want you to know what kind of missile they were so that you are stymied from drawing the appropriate and timely conclusion.

The War is Boring article refuted so much of what that Jabber Jay Farker, Jay Farqhuson had to say.

Thanks Jay, now we know you.

"Although decorated with Houthi-style graffiti, this ORT-21 Tochka missile-launcher is operated by units of the Yemeni army’s Missile Defense Command, which remains loyal to former president Ali Abdullah Saleh and thus have sided with the Houthis"

Either way the radar painted the ships, no radar no launcher.
The houti tutti fruittis would have known the radar sites would be hit so they would have been deserted.

"There’s scant evidence of direct Iranian support for the Houthis. Authorities have intercepted one or two small ships loaded with small arms and ammunition heading for the Yemeni coast. The Houthis have fired off a few Iranian-supplied missiles. A video has circulated depicting an Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps instructor talking with several Houthi commanders.
That’s it. The truth is, with Syria gobbling up money and men, Tehran cannot afford a major proxy war in Yemen.
Likewise, there are reasons to doubt Saudi Arabia’s claim that it’s defending Yemen’s legitimate government. Actually, Pres. Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi has next to no popular and political support in Yemen. His predecessor Ali Abdullah Saleh is much more popular than Hadi is within the Yemeni armed forces."

Thank you once again for providing allegorical evidence that studies are correct.

" This government study showed that 21% to 23% of adult Americans were not "able to locate information in text", could not "make low-level inferences using printed materials", and were unable to "integrate easily identifiable pieces of information."

As the article notes, the missile were fored by the Yemen Army Missile Forces, who are Sunni, not the Houthi's, who are 5'vers,

Nobody knows if the ASW missiles they Yemen Army Missile Forces are Chinese or Iranian clones, or if there were missile fired at US ships, or what kind of missiles (AGTM's or ASW?) they were, or when the Yemen Army acquired Anti Ship Missiles.

Are you next going to cite the Yemen Army's T-55's and SAM-3's as "proof" that the Soviet Union is supporting the Houthi's, 'cause I've got news for you, the Soviet Union is extinct.

LMAO, as Shadowproof cites in their Cold War Roundup:

" In a column in the Middle East Eye, Oborne also says that the war in Yemen has “subverted international order” in that major powers now act as proxies for their client states, instead of the other way around, which was the post-WWII norm. “In Yemen, Britain and the United States are dancing to the Saudi tune.” The US and UK provide arms, support and diplomatic protection in the UN Security Council, even in the face of atrocities like the recent funeral bombing massacre."

https://shadowproof.com/2016/10/14/next-cold-war-roundup-101416/

In otherwords, because Saudi Arabia can no longer afford the failed Yemen War, and can't win it, the US is taking it over, jokingly under the mantle of "self defense", because the House of Saud told the US to.

The part that really has me ROFLMAO, is between this, and trying to prevent the bombing of al Quida in Syria, the US has bent over, lubed up, climbed in bed and assumed the downward dog position, and bitten the pillow for the Murderers of 9/11.

And so quickly too.

Who knew that spitting on the 9/11 Memorial would become a US National hobby.

Enjoy the Santorium on the sheets and the hangover that's the day after result of being bent over so hard.

Helps to read the links.

The Yemen Army Missile Forces are the ones with ASM's, not the Houthi's.

The fixed radar sites were bombed out over a year ago.

https://shadowproof.com/2016/10/14/next-cold-war-roundup-101416/

And if they were C-403 ( Chinese) or N-403 ( Iranian) ASW's, they were fired, from mobile launchers, that have their own radar systems.

So, at best, the Tomahawk strikes were a "dog and pony" show, unless they were fired at completely different targets.

OK, so what am I missing here?
a. Stating that you do not know -who- fired at you and bombing the -place- where it likely originated from are two different things..
b. Not being hit by missiles -twice- and then wiping out that station is actually quite what the navy is supposed to be able to do, they did it, done.
What's the beef and all the shouting and arguing about? :)

Jabber Jay Farker,

I did not mention the Iranians.

I mentioned Saleh, Houthis, and the Missile Defense Command of the Yemeni army.

The best the Houthis can come up with is a Taliban / Al Qaeda defense.

That is the Houthi leadership had no fooking clue that the Missile Defense Command (DFC) was going solo. Which is a very disingenuous argument since has been with the Houthis and in Houthis territory since 2012.

I referred to the War is Boring article. What I quoted was accurate.

I really do not care about endless articles based on White House Hoax persons.

BTW JabberJay your website is crap. It is hard to believe that you are worked n IT as you claimed. I think you are full of crap. No businessman would have a website that crappy.

A) after brokering a possible Peace deal between the Revolutionary Committee and the Saudi's, the Saudi's told the US to "f€ck off".

B) two days later, the Saudi's deliberately bombed the public at a Yemeni funeral, killing over 200 and wounding over 500, at the same time leaked memo's showed that because the US and Britain provide the intel, coordinate the airstrikes, provide logistical, maintenence and refuelling for the Saudi Airforce, plus the jets and the bombs, British and American Officials and Service people are liable for prosecutions for Saudi warcrimes.

C) mythical missile attacks were made on US Warships, which the US blamed on the Houthi's, but now admits they don't know who fired them, if they existed, ( Gulf of Tonkin incident)

D) citing "self defence" and "freedom of navigation", the USN has fired Tomahawk missiles into Yemen, taking an active role in the Yemen Saudi War, on the side of the Saudi's.

E) the Saudi's, instead of a quick victory in Yemen have gotten bogged down in Yemen, Revolutionary Commitee forces are striking deep into Yemen, and even in places like Band el Mar, the Saudi's after a year, have still not been able to take the town. Al Quida controls the Town of Aden, while the UAE contingent barely controls the docks. Saudi revinues are down 64%, they are slashing salaries and benifits, and arn't paying their contracts.

The US, more importantly, the US Taxpayer, is moving to take over the Yemen War.

LMAO,

Did you check under your bed for scarey IRGC boogmen yet tonight.

Sorry but your "on to Tehran " moment died earlier than Bush II's political career. Guess you arn't "real men" anymore.

Never said I worked in IT. Another example of your grade 7 reading and comprehension skills.

Little tip, orange cleaner and lemon juice get's Santorium off the sheets, ( according to Dan Savage), stock up, you afe going to need lot's of it over the next few years.

The beef is that Jay outted Aizino as an alcholic, Alt Right, internet unperson. Not to mention idiot. Aizino has been on a Breitbart campaign against Jay ever since.

And, I agree with you, why would radar stations be hit if they don't know who fired the missiles. If you read closely, you'll see Jay has been making sense, while Aizino, as usual, is an incoherent mess.

RRH said...

Forget the orange and lemon Jay; he'll spend the years rolling in the sheets and rubbing all over every thing and everyone he can.

The Houthis didn't do it. Whatever "it" really was and all the Breitbarting in the world doesn't make Obama anyone's patsy but the Saudis.

And Aizino, like his President, would sell the dirty drawers off of his mother to have Prince Bandar or Salman saddle him up.

And the deposit is non-refundable.

That and the "Global Warming is a Chinese Plot and not real" is destroying what's left in his house equity, which was his only retirement option.

Of course, having his online Clubs and Preferred Presidential Cantidates's influences exposed,

Isn't some thing he can racistly blame on Obama.

The only plausible explanation outside of the Houthis is that the Saudis flew from their airfields through Houthi territory to launch attacks against thew USS Mason.

Even Jabber Jay the provacatuer has not gone there yet.

Meanwhile JabberJay is still unaware that the The War is Boring gave statistics on the size of tghe opposing armies.

If he was aware of it, he would have known he was outed.

JabberJay I think you would know how to get excrement off of the sheets from personal experience, way before you started religiously reading Dan Savages columns.

Saleh was in power 30 years. He was ousted due to the Arab Spring.

RRH and JabberJay are miffed that their president for life was ousted from power.

Radar sites were bombed out over a year ago.

Both the N-403 and the C-403 use mobile radars, and have a "passive mode", where the Guidance Officer can just use Costal Shiping and Shipping radar "echo's" to track a target.

They only have to turn the System radar on to "paint the target" and guide the missile, a time frame of only a couple minutes.

The USN story doesn't grok.
