U.S. Considering Military Options On Syria (Updated)

Washington Post: Obama administration considering strikes on Assad, again

U.S. military strikes against the Assad regime will be back on the table Wednesday at the White House, when top national security officials in the Obama administration are set to discuss options for the way forward in Syria. But there’s little prospect President Obama will ultimately approve them.

Inside the national security agencies, meetings have been going on for weeks to consider new options to recommend to the president to address the ongoing crisis in Aleppo, where Syrian and Russian aircraft continue to perpetrate the deadliest bombing campaign the city has seen since the five-year-old civil war began. A meeting of the Principals Committee, which includes Cabinet-level officials, is scheduled for Wednesday. A meeting of the National Security Council, which could include the president, could come as early as this weekend.

" which could include the president"

By golly, Russia and Syria had better pay attention, we're getting serious now!

The 2012 DIA Report on the total absense of any so called "moderate rebels" and the entry of Russian Forces into the conflict after the failure of the jihadi's Ildib Offensive, made it pretty clear that the only way the US would be able to keep their Regime Change project viable, is if they committed US Forces to fight alongside al Quida.

Idiot Obama wants nothing to do with the outside world except to apologize
and cut the U.S.

Even if there are "moderate rebels" neither they, ISIS, Al Qaeda, or anyone else can defeat Russia. The bottom line is Assad isn't going anywhere. The Russians aren't going to allow it. I recognized this back in 2011. American foreign policy should have immediately been calibrated accordingly from the start.

Unfortunately it wasn't. Now we are in even worse shape. When in a hole, the first thing we need to do is STOP DIGGING!! We are in a VERY DEEP hole. STOP DIGGING!!
