Thomas Gibbons-Neff, Washington Post: How Iranian weapons are ending up in Yemen

Weapon shipments intercepted in the Arabian sea by Australian, French and U.S. warships this year contained large quantities of Russian and Iranian weapons, some of which had markings similar to munitions recovered from Houthi fighters in Yemen, according to a new report released by an independent research group Wednesday.

In October, U.S. officials claimed to have captured five shipments of Iranian weapons bound for Yemen. The report, published by Conflict Armament Research, or CAR, draws on markings found on rifles, rocket launchers, anti-tank guided missiles and munitions, providing some of the more concrete evidence to date of Iran’s logistical support to Houthis fighting in Yemen’s nearly two-year-old civil war.

How come we never hear about weapons being intercepted that are bound for Saudi Arabia?

Saudi Arabia is not as open about jihad as Iran is.

Iran is in your face.

In a pure world Saudi Arabia would be on the list also. However, if you write off too many countries you lose no matter how virtuous you are.

Saudi Arabia has worked with us to defeat the USSR. It was in our common interest.

We are kind of working with Iran against ISIS and yet here we are worried about our soldiers in Iraq.

Leftist pundits might criticizes Saudi Arabia, but it takes the Left a long time to screw up the courage to criticizes the Muslim world.

It took 4 to 6 years to really mock the Taliban. But it was more of a mocking thing than a lets all of us put our asses on the line and take care of the Taliban. The Left was giving the Taliban a hard time about the treatment of women in 1999 & 2000, bu do you really expect anything to have come of it?

The U.S. should drill, drill, drill! The jackwagon Obama was not so much in favor of it. The U.S. imports oil from Venezuela ( until they went stupid; I mean socialist/communist), then Angola and only then Saudi Arabia. Shipping costs matter.

Iran is responsible for killing our soldiers in Iraq. They made the IEDs. They allowed safe transit of Al Qaeda through Iran. We know what factories made the IEDs in Iran, which were shipped to Iraq and given to various groups.

Saudi Arabi funds mosques, foreign college students (like Obama), charities, terorists threough charities (at least one cutout), more charities, more mosques more charities and more terrorists.

However Saudi Leaders do not unabashedly say Death to America like the Iranian leaders do.

American politicians do not focus on the terror funding charities. They do focus on steroids on baseball. They are brave like that. i mean really american politicians took their life in their own hands when investigating steroids, because you never know what Sammy Sosa or McGuire might do. Each congressman should be given a medal of freedom for their efforts investigating doping in baseball.

The MSM can't stick on a topic long enough unless it is Republican, Tea Party, Christians or something like that. Libs and MSM are more afraid of the Tea Party than the Taliban. Night Lights are big seller on both coasts.

Telling the story of the Saudi funded charity in Sarejevo just won't work for the MSM.

If the Left told the story of the Saudi charity in Sarejevo, then people might question Clinton's war and Russia might actually look good and reasonable in that instance.
