National Security Adviser McMaster Believes Saying 'Radical Islamic Terrorism' Isn't Helpful

The Guardian: Trump national security adviser wants to avoid term 'radical Islamic terrorism', sources say

HR McMaster felt phrase castigates ‘an entire religion’ and indicated ‘he’s not on board’ – a contrast with the president and many key staff members

Donald Trump’s new national security adviser has told staff at the White House he does not wish to use the term “radical Islamic terrorism” to describe the terrorist threat the US faces, according to multiple sources.

HR McMaster, a respected army lieutenant general, struck notes more consistent with traditional counterterrorism analysts and espoused consensus foreign-policy views during a meeting he held with his new National Security Council staff on Thursday.

Some in the meeting left with questions about whether McMaster’s evident disagreements with Trump and his key aides portend further turbulence for the key national security and foreign policy decision-making forum.

She or He it is hard to tell anymore in America or in Europe.

The Left keeps making stuff up.

It is the ideal that matters not the sex.

He (or she) is wrong.

Winning a battle tactically is not proof of smarts in other particular subject.

Personally, I liked the battle of 73 Easting. I have also read criticism of it. Criticism that was not knee jerk.

I saw a good looking black chick; did not think it unusual for a woman or a minority being a national security adviser; and I am being consistent with what I think with not naming the enemy.

The places I go either blame radical Islam or just Islam. I am being consistent.

So Jay GFY.

You sure do laugh your arse off a lot, surprised you have an arse left!

Quite a funny quip about the 101st fighting keyboarders though and the order of the golden cheeto.

As to the whole point of this question as to whether saying 'radical Islamic terrorism' is helpful or not, whether or not you like saying it or not the West, and the whole world, has a massive problem with terrorists who do it in the name of Islam; true or not? And their 'holy book' explicitly commands that they should kill and subdue all unbelievers.

The only part of 'radical Islamic terrorism' I don't agree with is the radical bit because Islamic warfare/terrorism is standard Islam, it is not radical at all, it's been normal practice for 1500 years!
