Update: Trump's calls and tweets on foreign policy are threatening rivals, allies (USA Today)

WNU Editor: Tough talk on contentious issues .... especially between world leaders .... and it makes no difference if they are allies or foes .... is almost always very blunt, direct, businesslike, and never/ever cordial or friendly. The stories that I have heard from my Russian friends on Putin-Obama phone calls .... none of which I can unfortunately confirm .... makes my hair stand-up even if they are 50% true. In regards to President Trump .... we should worry .... he is a special case because he is shaking the status quo in a manner that no recent US President has, and there is going to be blow-back .... and much of it (if not all of it) will be hostile.

Turnbull stated the Trump did not "hang up" on him. The call ended courteously. I wonder who the senior officials were that leaked.
