Washington Post: Inside Trump’s White House, New York moderates spark infighting and suspicion

Inside the White House, they are dismissed by their rivals as “the Democrats.”

Outspoken, worldly and polished, this coterie of ascendant Manhattan business figures-turned-presidential advisers is scrambling the still-evolving power centers swirling around President Trump.

Led by Gary Cohn and Dina Powell — two former Goldman Sachs executives often aligned with Trump’s elder daughter and his son-in-law — the group and its broad network of allies are the targets of suspicion, loathing and jealousy from their more ideological West Wing colleagues.

On the other side are the Republican populists driving much of Trump’s nationalist agenda and confrontations, led by chief strategist Stephen K. Bannon, who has grown closer to Chief of Staff Reince Priebus in part to counter the New Yorkers.

WNU Editor: President Trump needs to be careful .... these former Goldman Sachs/liberal Bush supporters are not the people who helped him get elected .... on the contrary .... they supported his opponents. And as for their globalist message .... that is not why people voted for President Trump .... they want the opposite. White House administrations .... especially Republican administrations .... have a long history of dissension and policy conflicts. I expect the same for this administration .... but if President Trump abandons his base .... he will be a one term President.

The distinction seems here to be between those who helped get Trump elected and the globalists. Is the president to take to side of the out of work coal miner and toss aside the advice of the money people who contribute to his campaign and to so many others? Can he wisely toss aside an economic policy that seems to be doing very well for our economy at present to please the white collar populist base, whose health care he is seemingly about to curtail?

1) When were coal miners white collar?

Seems like there is a bit of conflation there.

2) The libturd Obama already killed white collar healthcare.

Nice swapping blame there. Well, no it was not nice. It makes me think that Fred is stupid or Fred is trolling.
