Top Democrat On The House U.S. Intelligence Committee: New Evidence Shows Possible Trump-Russia Collusion

CNN: Schiff: New evidence shows possible Trump-Russia collusion

The top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee is claiming that he has been presented with new information on collusion between associates of President Donald Trump and Russia that would merit a grand jury investigation.

Rep. Adam Schiff told CNN Thursday that he had seen additional evidence, but would not specify what it was.
"We continue to get new information that, I think, paints a more complete picture of at least what we know at the outset of our investigation," Schiff said.

Asked to explain his comments earlier in the week when he said there was more than just "circumstantial evidence of collusion," Schiff said, "I do think that it's appropriate to say that it's the kind of evidence that you would submit to a grand jury at the beginning of an investigation.

Update: FBI has information suggesting Trump aides ‘coordinated with Russia to damage Clinton campaign’ -- The Independent

WNU Editor: The top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee (Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) has already come out and said that he does not know what this new evidence is. Also .... the top Democrat in the US Senate does not share the same point of view that his Democrat colleague in the House is saying .... Top Senate Democrat Won't Go As Far As House Counterpart On Trump-Russia Collusion (NBC). What's my take .... I have been hearing the same thing from Rep. Adam Schiff since the election .... now is the time to produce his new evidence to the committee instead of just talking about it.

LOL, of course he's going to say there's new evidence. The Dems feel that they need to counter Nunes and are likely going to overreach here and come away looking like idiots again

Your assumption is that the FBI is not still looking into materials and therefore the Dems should NOW offer evidence. I will ask you then but one question: Have your read the materials that the British spy Steele made available that is presumably being studied for authenticity?
If not, slow down in asking for immediate evidence. If what is in those documents is true, what he has is very very important. (yes. i read it.)

"(CNN) The FBI has information that indicates associates of President Donald Trump communicated with suspected Russian operatives to possibly coordinate the release of information damaging to Hillary Clinton's campaign, US officials told CNN."
