Is North Korea Going To Be President Trump's First War?

Daniel Lang, SHTFPlan: Why Trump’s First War Is Probably Going to Be a Conflict With North Korea

By now most people are completely desensitized to stories involving North Korea. One can only hear about so many blustering threats, missile launches, and state sanctioned executions, before those incidents are no longer surprising. Over the years we’ve seen it all, and most folks don’t really pay much attention to what’s going on in the Hermit Kingdom. That’s unfortunate, because they’re not paying attention as the Trump administration inches towards war with North Korea.

The first definite sign that the current administration was going to take a different approach to North Korea, was when Secretary of State Rex Tillerson stated emphatically last month that “all options are on the table.”

WNU Editor: God .... I hope not. A war on the Korean peninsula would make the wars in Afghanistan/Iraq/Syria  a piker in comparison. President Obama's number one worry was North Korea .... and the word is out that North Korea is President Trump's number one foreign policy concern. I can only hope this is true.

All that really matters is that the Chinese believe this, sign a non aggression pact and split the North in two...give the Chinese the responsibility of cutting the head off the thing.

Well one must ask the purpose of the "pivot to the pacific". If Trump wants to take North Korea he has to be the instigator, Japan has just ask permission for preemptive attacks. The rhetoric is all there, i just don't see the value in it.

The NORK's have nukes.

Hair Furour may want a war, but the Generals and the South Koreans won't.

Agent Orange can press the Chinese all he want's, but the Chinese will do what's best for China, and the NORK's not imploding, or attacking South Korea or the US out of desperation, is what's best for China.

There's nothing about North Korea currently that's best for China. I doubt they will enjoy watching a massive arms build up in the region with missile shields criss-crossing their horizon. They would earn a lot of clout if they were to handle this situation internally.

It will be the surgical strike that was considered by bill clinton.
This mythical artillery barrage of 500.000 rounds has already been debunked and much of their artillery does not reach Seoul.
Whats the alternative if china doesnt play ball? A glow in the dark hawaii in 5 years?

The only "pull" China has with the NORK's is they allow just enough trade in fuel and food to keep North Korea from collapsing, the NORK regime from starting a war, and millions of North Korean refugee's from flooding into China.

The NORK's know this, and the Chinese know this.

Even Stalin, back in the day had little to no "pull" with the NORKs.
