Reuters: North Korea says ready to strike U.S. aircraft carrier

North Korea said on Sunday it was ready to sink a U.S. aircraft carrier to demonstrate its military might, as two Japanese navy ships joined a U.S. carrier group for exercises in the western Pacific.

U.S. President Donald Trump ordered the USS Carl Vinson carrier strike group to sail to waters off the Korean peninsula in response to rising tension over the North's nuclear and missile tests, and its threats to attack the United States and its Asian allies.

The United States has not specified where the carrier strike group is as it approaches the area. U.S. Vice President Mike Pence said on Saturday it would arrive "within days" but gave no other details.

Nth korea has next to no chance of fixing its exact position let alone sinking it, this is but a fantasy og Putins that fat boy dare not dream of.

And this time they really mean it. Even that they do not have weapons that could achieve that, still I think they will manage it. Like sending a scuba diver to drill a hole with a y old hand drill on the bottom of Sad Vinson.

They could use one of their IL-28 to drop Kim onto the deck. Probably more effective than any antiship missile.

Maybe a couple of mig 21s will drop a T34 tank on its deck.

WNU,
In a surprising and troubling development United Airlines check in personnel have been deployed next to the DMZ. All strollers, prams, and extra baggage has been prohibited in a 30 mile wide zone. This is ominous to say the least.
