The Hill: Trump: We've had 'one of the most successful 13 weeks' in history

President Trump on Thursday insisted he’s had “one of the most successful” starts as president in U.S. history, dismissing the chaos and stalled legislative agenda that has marred his first 100 days in office.

"I think we’ve had one of the most successful 13 weeks in the history of the presidency,” Trump told reporters on Air Force One.

The president cited positive numbers on job creation, negotiations on presidential aircraft prices and his planned military buildup.

Trump’s first weeks in office have been anything but smooth.

Is there a disease that affects US political leaders? When they campaign, they seem reasonably sane. In fact, they come up with reasonable proposals like placing American interests first and foremost, suggesting the obvious that NATO might possibly need to re renegotiated, and that the current trade arrangements with China need to be renegotiated.

Then when they get to office they go bat sh!t crazy. As a long time politician, HRC had been infected by this disease long ago. Apparently DJT has been infected in only a very short time. There were warning signs that he was susceptible to this infection. Now he seems to have succumbed.

This ridiculous statement stating he has had a successful 11 weeks, 13 weeks, or whatever when in reality its been an epic fail combined with the monumentally stupid decision to launch military operations in Syria before he could have possibly had all the facts to make such a decision. This would be the case if US intel were trustworthy which they are not. America cannot survive such continued stupidity on the part of its leaders.

BPoster - America is doing quite alright. Look to your own country (Russia). What's happening there? Corruption, execution on streets, poverty, a slowly failing economy, mafia etc..
This is not what Russia should be like. Russia should be free. Russia used to be a place with great thinkers. Now replaced by people buying porsches, clubbing, doing drugs, mafia etc.. while the poor cheer on Putin. How stupid
