Why Is The U.S. Blaming Russia For Everything?

Robert Parry, Strategic Foundation Culture: Blaming Russia for Everything

It’s almost getting comical how everything that happens in the United States gets blamed on Russia! Russia! Russia! And, if any American points out the absurdity of this argument, he or she must be a “Moscow stooge” or a “Putin puppet.”

When Sen. Marco Rubio’s presidential campaign fails seemingly because he was a wet-behind-the-ears candidate who performed like a robot during debates repeating the same talking points over and over, you might have cited those shortcomings to explain why “Little Marco” flamed out. However, if you did, that would make you a Russian “useful idiot”! The “real” reason for his failure, as we learned from Thursday’s Senate Intelligence Committee hearing, was Russia!

WNU Editor: For as long as I can remember .... with the exception of the period after the fall of the Soviet Union .... Russia has always been blamed by the U.S. for literally everything .... Moscow has always been Washington's official boogeyman. The only difference between then and now is that many Democrats and the liberal media have jumped onto this bandwagon. The funny thing is that in Russia itself .... politicians  and leaders like Putin do blame the U.S. for the country's problems once in a while .... but this blame game never goes far because most Russians know that the real blame lies with their government, and saying it too often actually makes these politicians look stupid. Unfortunately .... in my opinion this mindset still needs to grow in the U.S.. But there is still hope .... in the past 100% of the U.S. population would want this  .... Poll: Most want independent probe of Trump's Russia links (The Hill) .... but today only half of the American population favours such an independent probe, while the other half have mixed feelings from no to maybe.

Speaking of most Americans wanting an independent probe of Trump-Russia ties, here are some more links ....

AP-NORC Poll: Most Americans want independent Russia probe -- AP
Poll: Half of Americans believe Russia meddled in election -- UPI
Poll suggests more than half of Americans want independent probe into Donald Trump's Russia ties -- International Business Times
52% of Americans want investigation on Trump-Russia -- Axios

Update: According to this poll .... even though he has been in office for only 10 weeks .... 44% want President trump to be impeached .... Women want Trump impeached, men don't, poll finds (Newsweek) .... and from my perspective, they are foaming at the mouth to have this done ASAP. Am I wrong?

Re: the independent probe. At this point there is no such thing as independent. Everybody's already picked a side
