Iran Failed In Launching A Cruise Missile From A Submarine

FOX News: Iran attempted missile launch from submarine, US officials say

Iran attempted to launch a cruise missile from a submarine in the Strait of Hormuz on Tuesday but the test failed, two U.S. officials told Fox News.

An Iranian Yono-class “midget” submarine conducted the missile launch. North Korea and Iran are the only two countries in the world that operate this type of submarine.

In February, Iran claimed to have successfully tested a submarine-launched missile. It was not immediately clear if Tuesday’s test was the first time Iran had attempted to launch a missile underwater from a submarine.

This incident comes on the heels of other recent provocations from Iran.

WNU Editor: Apparently Iran used a Yono-class 'midget' sub for the test (see above photo). I am not an expert, but that is a small sub to use for launching a cruise missile.

The cruise "missile" was just Tom Cruise holding on to a balloon while being kicked in the groin. Doesn't need a big sub

Iranian "mini subs" arn't really mini subs, and they have two 21inch torpedo tubes in the bow.

As a result, they can fire all the standard Soviet/Chinese/Russian torpedos, cruise missiles and deploy mines.

Look you can fire a cruise missile out of your fridge. Just depends on what you call a cruise missile. Cruise is just a verb. The general class of cruise missile definition is vast. So sure, an Iranian sub - even a small one as shown above - can fire of a cruise missile. Probably wrapped in a magic carpet, but still :)
Common booster. .. you can comment from Moscow, or siberia your new address, we won't mind. .
