Venezuelan Soldiers Begging For Food In Neighbouring Guyana

Miami Herald: Armed Venezuelan soldiers caught in Guyana begging for food

BOGOTA, COLOMBIA: A handful of Venezuelan soldiers — armed and in uniform — were caught in neighboring Guyana last week begging for food, local police reported, another sign of Venezuela’s deepening hunger crisis.

Guyanese Police Inspector Christopher Humphrey said he’d gone to the border along the Amacuro river, which divides the two nations, to investigate reports that the Venezuelan military was stealing food from locals. But the three soldiers he encountered — two carrying military assault rifles — said they had come to beg for meals and hadn’t harmed anyone.

Humphrey said the men had crossed into Guyana on a wooden raft and seemed genuinely hungry.

“They were desperate,” he told the Miami Herald. “They were here for some time and they showed me a can of sardines and the place where they had cooked it over a fire.”

Hunger is on the rise in Venezuela, amid triple-digit inflation and the government’s inability to import basic goods. And neighboring Colombia, Brazil and Guyana have seen a spike in Venezuelans looking for food.

WNU Editor: I have a close friend who lives in Georgetown (capital of Guyana). He has told me that there are many homeless beggars from Venezuela in the city, and their numbers are growing dramatically. But this is the first time that I am reading a report of starving Venezuelan soldiers.

In Ukraine in the 1930s there was cannibalism.

It could happen anywhere, where there is so much famine.

It happened in the U.S. See The Donner Party.

Maduro does not have to worry about an opposition funded or trained by the U.S.

Here is my advice to the fat socialist pig of a fascist dictator. He better disarm any unit he cannot feed.

Maybe Hugo Chavez's plump, thieving socialist daughters had better hide from starving soldiers or they might be cannibalized.

Hugo Chavez's daughter poses with US dollars, sparking controversy

Truth be said Rosines Chavez is a prefect exemplar of a communist/socialist.

"María Gabriela, Chavez’s favourite daughter, is reported to be worth a staggering $4.2 billion"

María Gabriela forgot about Young Communist

Iron-Fisted Socialism Benefited Hugo Chavez’s Daughter To The Tune Of BILLIONS, Reports Say

Where in the world is Young Communist?

Where in the world is Fred Lapides?

Where in the world is Jay F_______son?

They are super big time Leftists. Why cannot they ship aid to Venezuela?

They are doing less than Sean Penn. I have to applaud Sean Penn. Unlike the Clintons he did not go to Haiti to loot it. He did his best to alleviate suffering and spent more than an insignificant amount of his time.

Why cannot the 3 Amigos (Lefties). Raise money, buy supplies and ship them to Venezuela?

Venezuela is a bad story for simple people. We can't help them without meddling politically with the power in place. And selfishly we have enough in our plate.

I'm here, arrogant Aizino, with this:

http://www.eldesperttador.org/2016/05/04/venezuela-alimentos-gobierno-de-maduro/

I, with my party, PRC Partito di Rifondazione Comunista (Communist Refoundation Party), we can do all we can to sustain socialism.

The opposite of yours capitalist-fascist friends, who do not have the minimum shame to block money for the people (like in Greece) or even the food, only to cause crisis in order to remove or kneel down a government who they don't like.

Where end democracy when the energy and distribution lobbies become so powerful and rich to accept a little loss to destroy the economy of a country as in the Chile of Allende?

Also for USA, they continue to consider the Latin America as their "backyard".

Rex Tillerson, Mike Pompeo and many leader of Venezuelan opposition are in the paylist of Exxonmobil and others energy companies. And they do not talk in the interest of Venezuela democracy.

Fascism is a form of socialist, the lies of Marcuse & Adorno of the Frankfurt school aside.

The SS was made up of communists. No wonder they were so brutal.

The term beefsteak acknowledges the fact that there were so many communists in the SS.

Young Communist,

!Tu es loco!

It has been one emergency after another.

Even Jay has pointed out some of the things that are wrong. The dedicated communists/socialist, who worked for Venezuela looted the country & fled.

He admits it, why won't you?

Venezuela has had problems generating electrical power. They did not engage in capital reinvestment in the hydro-eclectric.

Why?

because capital reinvestment in equipment be considered capitalist?

!Estamos loco!

Between Cuba China, North Korea, Russia and others, Venezuela has so many good trading partners.

maybe communists cannot run an economy except into the ground.
