Discussions said to focus on Palestinian unity deal, while Iran says support depends on continued fight against Israel.
A high-ranking Hamas delegation began a visit to Iran on Friday to inform its backers in Tehran about reconciliation efforts with rival Palestinian faction Fatah, an official from the terror group said.
The group led by deputy chief Salah al-Arouri will meet senior Iranian officials over the next several days, the representative said on condition of anonymity, after Israel insisted it will not recognize any unity Palestinian government unless Hamas cuts off ties with Tehran.

Yet these same people cannot name the vents that led up to it. They cannot name the two Balkans Wars nor Russia war with Turkey. They could name the Napoleonic Wars, but not all of them.
These wars in the Middle east will change the balance of power. True, these countries are small compared to the Soviet union in land area. So Obama is not a complete blithering idiot, but he is close.
These wars by tiny and mid-sized countries will change the balance of power one, one grain of sand at a time, but it is shifting. When the balance of power has shifted enough and depending on the alliances made, one side will decide it the balance of power is favorable. It might be mistaken, but a decision will be made and war will result. All the talking and process that people like John Kerry can throw at the problem will come to naught.
I am tired of stupid people who throw-out the worthless chestnut "It is the Middle East. They are always fighting and always will." Draw an imaginary box around a map of the Middle East that you thinks fits the above statement.
Then take a box of the same size and place it over SE Asia, East Asia, Central Asia, Europe or Africa. If you collected stats would the results be statistically different?
