Is The U.S. President 'Unravelling'?

Donald Trump in the Diplomatic Room at the White House, October 2, 2017. Joshua Roberts/Reuters.

Gabriel Sherman, Vanity Fair: “I Hate Everyone in the White House!”: Trump Seethes as Advisers Fear the President Is “Unraveling”

In recent days, I’ve spoken with a half dozen prominent Republicans and Trump advisers, and they all describe a White House in crisis as advisers struggle to contain a president that seems to be increasingly unfocused and consumed by dark moods.

At first it sounded like hyperbole, the escalation of a Twitter war. But now it’s clear that Bob Corker’s remarkable New York Times interview—in which the Republican senator described the White House as “adult day care” and warned Trump could start World War III—was an inflection point in the Trump presidency. It brought into the open what several people close to the president have recently told me in private: that Trump is “unstable,” “losing a step,” and “unraveling.”

WNU Editor: Here is an easy prediction .... this article will be today's political buzz in the U.S. .... and another (quite frankly) example of "fake news". On a side note involving U.S. politics .... my read of Senator Bob Corker New York Time's interview is different from what the U.S. main stream media is pushing .... Bob Corker Says Trump’s Recklessness Threatens ‘World War III’ (New York Times). I see President Trump "flushing out" a person who lost his cool and revealed his true self and intentions as well as those from key Senate Republicans .... which in to give no legislative support to President Trump's agenda. That is the second big political story of the week, the first being (of course) the Harvey Weinstein revelations of sexual crimes and the long delay among many key Democrats from responding (including from former President Bill Clinton, even though he and Harvey Weinstein are "best friends" .... and no .... I do not expect a response). Talk about someone (and those around him) unraveling .... 'I gotta get help... we all make mistakes': Harvey Weinstein's meltdown in front of photographers as he leaves LA on a private jet for $40,000-a-month rehab clinic (Daily Mail).

Ah, dear editor: a deflection!
HW is a sex addict and is now disgraced etc
Trump is the president of the US with nuke codes
a bit difference since HW has little or no influence for 99.9% Americans but Trump has 100% involvement for Americans

Fred,
The HW story is far from over.
And I disagree .... HW did have a lot of influence on U.S. politics and thereby on a lot of Americans.
And yes .... in the whole scheme of things, President Trump is infinitely far important.

Real Americans love the Weistein story.

They hate being able to outgun them in politics.

The HW story has Democrat politicians, sex, Hollywood, liberal ethics, crime galore and more. HW is just the tip if the iceberg.

Now Rose McGowan just got canned by Democrat Billionaire Jeff Bezos. It seems if you speak out, you will get hurt.
