This is beyond ridiculous, once again the South takes the bait hook, line, and sinker.

How dare they do anything that might lead to no war threat.

With tougher sanctions looming, support from Russia and China not as rock solid as it once was, South Korea and Japan building up their military capabilities among other things I have mentioned here and elsewhere numerous times North Korea appears to have come to the conclusion that now might be a good time to get to the negotiating table and negotiate in good faith. Things will only get worse for them in the future.

Mr. Huntley,

Without the NK threat to destroy America there is no war threat. For what its worth, I have no problem cutting the South Korean treacherous chumps loose. This gives us two advantages. 1.)We will be in a better position to actually negotiate an honorable end to the conflict with them. 2.)Should war become inevitable once freed from the yoke of SK we will be in a better position militarily.

I like this diplomatic process to. It may just afford us some time to build up our military capabilities and bolster our homeland security. We should avail ourselves of this opportunity. Any finally agreement here will have to include us being allowed to remove our military personnel. Each day they are there the humiliation Americans face only grows and as the years go by it grows exponentially!!

It would be great if these two countries could unite, but I think above comments are correct in that the North is playing the South again and again. Shame on South Korean's President if this backfires
