Has Life Changed On The North Korean Side Of The DMZ?

WNU Editor: An interesting post on what life is like on the North Korean side of the DMZ .... North Korean side of DMZ sounds quieter now, even peaceful (AP). I am not there but I sense that the tensions that have been a hallmark on the DMZ and the Korean peninsula for decades are now changing. Among all my South Korean friends there is an expectation that things are going to change .... and they may be right. As for myself .... the last time that I felt like this was in 1988 and it pertained to China and in eastern Europe. At that time change was definitely in the air .... and a year later we had the Tienanmen Square massacre, and in eastern Europe the Berlin Wall fell down.
