U.S. Says Israel Behind Airstrike In Syria That Targeted Pro-Regime Forces

CNN: Israel behind airstrike in Syria, US official says

Washington (CNN)An airstrike close to the Iraq-Syria border Sunday was carried out by Israel, and not by the US or the coalition fighting ISIS, a US official tells CNN.

Syrian state TV blamed the strike that targeted pro-regime forces and caused multiple casualties on the US-led coalition combating the terrorist group, but a spokesman for the coalition said there were no coalition strikes in the area near Abu Kamal.

The Israel Defense Forces declined to comment on the strike, per its normal policy.

US officials have said that many pro-regime militias that are also aligned with Iran operate in the border area between Syria and Iraq.

The area is some distance from Israel and Israeli jets would have had to overcome significant logistical hurdles to strike that area.

Israel has repeatedly warned that it would target Iranian-linked groups in Syria.

No respect? wonder why

It was rather obvious to me who it was, the recent deployment of new anti air systems along the euphrates river would have triggered their frustrations.

"No respect? wonder why" Under the leadership of Trump America is beginning to assert its rights as a sovereign country and is beginning to demand and expect equal treatment from Europe, Canada, and Mexico. In the past, America has generally been subservient to these nations essentially doing what these nations wanted even when it did not serve American interests.

Often times when the abused in a relationship begins to assert themselves and to demand and expect to be treated with respect and decency the abuser lashes out at the abused and even tries to hurt them. I think this is what we are seeing here. It often times requires courage to break away from and abusive relationship and/or to demand that the abuser change behavior. As such, when the abused (in this case America) begins to assert themselves the abusers (primarily Europe and Mexico) are not going to respect them at first. I think this is what you are seeing here right now. If the abused can continue to maintain the proper course as well as the self confidence to fight for their just rights, the behavior of the abusers will generally change over time.

Unfortunately, as I can see by the boorish behavior of the Canadian PM and the lack of condemnation of this, there may be changes in this relationship that are needed as well. I hope his actions DO NOT reflect how the majority of Canadians feel toward America. For now, this is my assumption. Given the admiration Americans generally have for Canadians, it would be a shame if most of them or substantial percentage actually harbored such hatred for us as the Canadian PM seems to harbor.

B. Poster live in another world.

We Europeans are the abuser of America?
So, take some hundreds of European military bases on US territory.
