WNU Editor: It looks like President Trump is going to bring this subject up continuously for the entire duration of this NATO summit .... and I am not surprised, it is having an impact.

Roll forward 2 years when NordStream 2 is going full blast and Germany gets 80-90% of its natgas from Russia. Russia beings a destablization operation in December 2020 against Estonia and Latvia within their large ethnic Russian populations. Sabotage, large scale protests, cyber attacks, civil disobedience, demands for Russian protection and all the other tricks Russian Little Green men are famous for.
What's Germany going to do? Nothing. Absolutely nothing in the Atlantic Council to help those Baltic states because Russia can turn off the supply. Since NATO has to act by unanimity, it can't act.
So is Trump wrong in asking what good is NATO?
