Reuters: South Korea says no change on North Korean sanctions
South Korea never considered lifting sanctions against North Korea imposed over the 2010 sinking of a South Korean warship, the country’s Unification Minister Cho Myoung-gyon said on Thursday.
South Korea’s Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha said on Wednesday that the sanctions, imposed against Pyongyang following a torpedo attack on a corvette that killed 46 South Korean sailors in 2010, were under review.
North Korea has denied any involvement in the sinking.

This Moon is trusting. Too trusting I think. Like the prior occupant of the White House, leverage is for bullies and useless in these modern times in this guy's mind. In his press photos with Un, Moon shows too much ivory. As Leo sung-un Durocher, famous S. Korean athletic team manager once said; "Nice guys finish last". Or was it "rast" No matter. Ya get the point.
The treaty he so desperately seeks is just a piece of paper. There's been peace since the war ended except for a few "incidents" on the N. Korean's side. Which, had they been properly answered, would have put some leverage and believability in Moon's favor should he take a little lesson or two from Trump.
And what does the south get? N.K. is the poor country dependent on Chinese trade and something to put in the rice bowl during tough times; not the South. They don't even seem to treat their troops for worms! What's that say about the new NK buildings in the press releases? Potemkin with a capital "P".
Ok, will I get the crosswalks that vanish? The busses? Or a jackpot with no squinting to figure out what's in the photos?
