Washington Examiner: 158 million migrants want to move to the US, world’s top pick
The United States is the top pick — by far — for migrants seeking a new home, despite reports that President Trump’s policies are scaring people away and making countries such as Canada and some in Europe the preferred choice, according to a new report.
Some 158 million, or a population far larger than all of Russia, want to move to the U.S., about 21 percent of all those in the world seeking a new home.
In a worldwide survey, Gallup found that 15 percent of the world, or 758 million, want to move, most for jobs.

Someone needs to explain to the libs and dems that it would take 7 planet earths worth of resources to give our standard of life to the more than seven billion people on this world. We can’t save everyone but it doesn’t seem to stop them from trying

I would agree the number is much higher. I base this on years of living in various European and Asia countries. Just in SE-Asia alone, almost everyone I talked to wanted to live in the US. A few years ago there was a trend that many wanted to go to China, this trend has now reversed - people are getting aware of just how crazy China is and what they do to its people, so they see the US as the best place to go by far. Then next in line is UK, Germany.. that's just from my own experience of talking to people, so take it for what it's worth.. but definitely 158million doesn't even touch it.. I've been to countries where there's more than 200 million who want to go to the US haha so yeah, WNU is right, it's easily a billion, my guess >2bn.
