President Trump's Tweet On Recognizing Israeli Sovereignty Over The Golan Heights Sparks Condemnation

Daily Mail: 'The edge of a new crisis': Syria vows to use 'every possible means' to 'liberate' the Golan Heights as Trump sparks fury in the Middle East by pledging to recognise Israel's sovereignty over highlands

* President Trump made the abrupt proclamation over Golan on Twitter yesterday
* It was immediately welcomed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
* But Syria's foreign ministry said statement was an 'irresponsible' threat to peace
* Israel captured the area from Syria in 1967 and unilaterally annexed it in 1981
* The U.N. does not recognize the sovereignty of 'occupying power' Israel

Syria and its allies have condemned Donald Trump's declaration that America should recognise Israel's sovereignty over the Golan Heights.

The Foreign Ministry in Damascus vowed it would use 'every possible means' to 'liberate' the region and described the US President's statement as a threat to international peace and stability.

It said his comments on Twitter confirm 'the blind bias of the United States to the Zionist entity,' referring to Israel, and added that the statement won't change 'the fact that the Golan was and will remain Arab and Syrian.'

The parrot says he is pro-Israel and beats his chest proudly about his son serving in the IDF.

Yet me thinks he is in mourning that Trump did this. He will be so mad at Trump over this action that he will vote for any anti-Israel Democrat candidate.

anon, aka Fake Smith
I know and have known for some time that Israel not about to give back Golan (I have been there) since it is strategically important for Israel's safety...and the real understanding is that though termed occupied territory, it was subject to negotaitions with Syria. Syria made clear it was not going to negotiate. Now, with Iran close by that area, Israel will not give it up. period
next snotty insult, asshole?

When you win something in war you generally do not give it up.

You usually do not give up a position that that is strong defensively and/or would give the enemy a strong launching point.

Somehow I get the impression that genoid such as yourself thinks attacking up hill is as easy as anything else. People have attacked up hill and have won. When they do so it is generally considered remarkable such as when the Americans attacked uphill at Kings Mountain and just ripped the Brits & loyalist militia a new one.

Iran, their Syrian ally, and Hezbollan proxy will attack regardless if they retain or give up the Golan Heights.

Syria attacked the US from 2003 and 2011. IT is run by a dictator since the 1970s. It has not had a legit government for that long. We should care about the fake country regime Syria why?

Syria is a fake state created by the British and French after WW1. It would be better if we could create a Kurdish state and unit the Iraqi and Syrian Sunni into a state and then see if they can play nice.

I never have credited you with an abundance in intelligence. You have gotten where you have due to a depleted manpower pool after WW2, following the herd, and white privilege. Sometimes it is better to be lucky than good.

You probably cannot wait until the Democrats run someone like Massachusetts REP. AYANNA Pressley, AOC, Ilhan Omar or some other anti-Semite in your district.

No proof that, if the Democrats put the vilest anti-Semite on the Democrat ticket, that dyed in the wool Democrats will not vote for them.

NONE!

Amazing!

From the Golan one could site srtillery and missiles able to hit every square inch of Israel 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year until there were no more worthwhile targets.
Since Syria made the decision to align itself with Iran and invite Iran to set up military bases, long range missile production factories and stockpiles of missiles, Syria forfeits the Golan Heights. Every nation on earth facing similar situations would keep it.

So Anon 8:24 felt compelled to come out of the woodwork and parrot:

"DONE DEAL SIMPLY SOLIDIFIES THAT WHICH WAS DONE BUT NOT ANNOUNCED"

Was Anon 8:24 defending his beloved BamBam, the worthless president?

As they say No guts, No glory.

Clearly, 'Man Country' has no guts. GBS maybe?
