A New Power Blackout Hits Most Of Venezuela

Reuters: Widespread blackout hits Venezuela, government blames 'electromagnetic attack'

CARACAS (Reuters) - More than half of Venezuela’s 23 states lost power on Monday, according to Reuters witnesses and reports on social media, a blackout the government blamed on an “electromagnetic attack.”

It was the first blackout to include the capital, Caracas, since March, when the government blamed the opposition and United States for a series of power outages that left millions of people without running water and telecommunications.

The blackouts exacerbated an economic crisis that has halved the size of the economy.

Venezuelan Information Minister Jorge Rodriguez said the outage on Monday was caused by an “electromagnetic attack,” without providing evidence. He added that authorities were in the process of re-establishing service.

The Blackout or the Flanker interception.

"The Venezuelan plane made an "unsafe approach" and "aggressively shadowed" the US reconnaissance aircraft over the Caribbean Sea, US Southern Command said on Sunday."

The reconnaissance aircraft is a prop. They have better loiter time. They are also used in a more permissive environment.

Shutting off an electrical grid using conducting filaments was done by stealth planes previously like the F117.

You are welcomed to try using a slow multi-engined prop plane for attack. If you do please load the plane with a bunch of liberals.

There were protest called today by the opposition. The government blacked out the country and shut down the internet to prevent coordination. Also they can blame it on the US and opposition. That is what smart money is saying.

You could shut down the grid by going all Shining Path (liberal) by blowing a power transmission pylon. The pylon can be replace in a day or a week, but in the meantime, the power has been tripped for several hours. All you need for that is a squad.

If the grid is hooked up to the internet, you could trip it that way. Point is why would you use a reconnaissance aircraft? It has too much avionics and too many people on board.

How do they keep the jets flying is the question. The economic data does not look as dire as in 2016/2017. You would think it would be worse, since oil production is 1/2 to 1/3rd of what it was.

Is it a temporary gold reserve sell off bump?

How much is it Chinese money?

How much is it drug money and Hezbollah smuggling?

Heck I would just fly planes 5, 10 or 20 miles from their air space just so they scramble jets multiple times a day until they are hangar queens. It would all be legal and it would not violate their air space. Exercise that equipment beyond their maintenance dollars.
What it would do is degrade their air force that if there was a war, they would no longer have air superiority at all. Then let the Brasilians walk in and trash Iran, Hezbollah and the fascists.

Iran cannot support Venezuela anymore. We know what oil production is. I bet Hezbollah which are not getting much of their Iranian transfer/welfare payments is hurting so bad that their crime network in Africa and the Americas is going full tilt. The network probably loos like what the source did to Neo when he was blind. Collect, catalogue and dissect.
