Nevada County Draft Emergency Declaration Ahead Of The September 20 'Storm Area 51' Event

Daily Mail: Nevada officials draft emergency declaration plan ahead of Storm Area 51 event - amid fears things will get 'ugly' when '2 MILLION' visitors descend on the remote military base

* More than two million Facebook users say they are attending the 'Storm Area 51, They Can't Stop All Of Us' event in Lincoln County, Nevada on September 20
* Officials predict around 40,000 people could show up
* While that number is considerably smaller than the one indicated on Facebook, residents say they don't have the resources to cope with the influx
* One official predicts the situation could get 'ugly', with cellphone service likely to go down and police resources stretched to the limit
* Area 51 is the once top-secret U.S. Air Force test area known in popular lore as a site for government studies of outer space aliens

Fearing they could be overwhelmed with visitors, officials in the remote Nevada county that's home to the Area 51 military base have drafted an emergency declaration ahead of next month's planned 'Storm Area 51' event.

Lincoln County is home to the once top-secret U.S. Air Force test area known in popular lore as a site for government studies of outer space aliens, and more than two million Facebook users have indicated they will descend upon the base on September 20

Officials predict 40,000 people might show up, but that's still enough to stoke concern, as Lincoln County only has around 5,200 residents.

WNU Editor: Their prediction that about 40,000 people are going to show up sounds reasonable.

I hope the guy who organized this will be sued. Sure, sure.. joke, free speech, but maybe we revisit this.. obviously this costs the state millions and obviously people might get hurt. For a "joke"? Where is the punch line? Who is laughing? This is like making a joke about organizing people to show up with weapons somewhere and cross legal barriers.. like maybe a nation's borders?.. under some people's idea this is legal then too. If it's funny in the previous case, or protected under free speech, then why not organize border crossing with weapons? Just asking.. happy to listen to your arguments :)

I guess we will see how the US military handles/manhandles a crowd of citizens.

Hilarious. If a crowd of facebook losers actively descend upon an isolated US mil base with intent to encroach or invade, they deserve the tactics that will be used to repel them. And they can take their wailing, viral videos and cram them up their keesters.

Facebook: The fulcrum of all terrible ideas.

The fella that has achieved a Zinn-like state could not manhandle anyone.

What is the difference between letting a bunch of Leftists and libtards overrun Area 51 or the Manhattan project back in the day? None.

The Zinn Master is proposing that we should let them overrun Area 51. Not much else could be expected from Chicom Bob the troll.
